Leicester City Under-23s will travel to Radcliffe Borough for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, August 6.
The match was arranged by former Leicester defender Frank Sinclair, who is the seventh-tier club’s assistant manager.
Steve Beaglehole always likes to test his players against senior opposition during pre-season and the game against Radcliffe will mark one of their final opportunities to impress before the Premier League 2 season starts.
“We’re hopeful that they will bring along a couple of names on the night,” Radcliffe chairman Paul Hilton told the Radcliffe Times.
“The game has been arranged through Frank and whatever guise Leicester arrive in, even their Under-23s, will be a talented team. It’s a great game for us as a club.”
