Ollie Waldron has left his role as Head of Technical Scouting at Leicester City.

Waldron joined the club as a Technical Scout in March 2015 and was promoted to Head of Technical Scouting eight months later.

FoxesHub understands that he will join Eduardo Macià’s scouting department at Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

The scout, who previously worked as an analyst for the club from 2012 to 2013, is highly valued by senior staff at Leicester City and they will have been reluctant to see him leave King Power Stadium.

Leicester are understood to be looking for Waldron’s replacement but nobody has been identified thus far.

It could pave the way for Rob Mackenzie, who is Head of Technical Scouting at Oud-Heverlee Leuven, to return to the club.
