Leicester City defender Alex Pașcanu is reportedly set for a move to Romanian side FCSB.
The 20-year-old was a key player for his country in the UEFA Under-21 European Championships earlier this summer.
The Foxes extended Pașcanu’s contract by a further year in May and were hopeful of securing the centre-half a loan move to a Championship club.
Reports in the Romanian media now suggest that he is a key target for FCSB, formerly known as Steaua București and could move for a fee in the region of €800,000 (£727,000).
Pașcanu has made his desire to play senior football public on several occasions and may now have his chance as a move to Romania’s top tier looms.
The move will follow the departure of fellow defender Elliott Moore, who joined Oxford United earlier this summer after Leicester set a £300,000 price tag.
