Leicester City defender Alex Pașcanu is set to join Romanian side CFR Cluj.
The two clubs have agreed a fee of €600,000 and the 20-year-old is set to undergo a medical, FoxesHub understands.
Pașcanu impressed at the Under-21 European Championships over the summer and rejected an offer from FCSB to sign for Cluj.
In interviews with Romanian media, the defender had made it clear that he was hunting first team football and it is understood that Leicester could not find a Championship club to take him on loan.
His exit follows the departure of fellow defender Elliott Moore, who joined League One side Oxford United earlier this summer.
Meanwhile, Leicester have signed 20-year-old centre-back Darragh O’Connor from Irish side Wexford.
