Luton Town first team coach Iñigo Idiakez has tipped incoming Leicester defender James Justin to become England’s first choice right-back.
Idiakez has coached Justin closely since manager Nathan Jones left Luton last season and believes the 21-year-old has all the qualities required on and off the pitch.
“He has power, speed, technique and a good ability to beat people,” Idiakez told FoxesHub. “He reads the game well and has the potential to be the England right-back in the coming years.
“As a person, he’s a quiet and hard working lad. He has been an example for all the years he has been in the [Luton] academy as a young player. He is really respectful and always has good manners towards everyone.
“Leicester have done really, really well.”
Justin is capable of playing at both right-back and left-back due to his comfort with both feet. He is comfortable in both defence and attack, and is expected to push Ricardo Pereira for a place in the starting eleven.
The youngster completed a medical at Belvoir Drive on Wednesday (June 26) and Leicester are expected to confirm his arrival in the coming days.
