Leicester City have appointed Notts County’s Claire Burrows as Emerging Talent Operations Manager.
Burrows held the role of Academy Operations Manager at the National League club and also managed the Women’s Development Squad.
Alongside her academy administration work, Burrows is currently working towards her UEFA B licence and has a degree in Sports and Exercise from Nottingham Trent University.
The Foxes have expanded their academy recruitment department ahead of their move to the new training ground and Burrows will work closely with Steve Travis, who was recently appointed Head of Emerging Talent.
Bill Wall, who has worked for the club since 1997, will remain in post and has seen a small title change from Head of Academy Recruitment to Head of Academy Scouting.
The new role allows Wall to spend more time watching football games, allowing Travis and Burrows to focus on areas such as managing scouts, negotiating contracts and filing relevant paperwork.
