Leicester City are reportedly one of three clubs considering the signing of West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez.
According to the Telegraph, Rodriguez has a release clause of just £5m and Leicester, Burnley and Bournemouth considering triggering it.
The clause was inserted as part of a deal that Rodriguez could leave The Hawthorns this summer if West Brom failed to achieve promotion.
Rodriguez, who has one England cap, joined West Brom in July 2017 in a £12m deal from Southampton. He scored seven goals in 37 Premier League games during the 2017-18 season, but recorded an impressive 22 in 45 in the Championship last term.
Rodgers has insisted that he has faith in out-of-form Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho, but the club are still looking for another striker to provide competition for Jamie Vardy.
