Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has extended his contract until the summer of 2022.
The 20-year-old was crowned Development Squad Player of the Season last term after a number of impressive displays in midfield for Steve Beaglehole’s side.
Dewsbury-Hall is now looking to push for a place in the first team squad after finally settling his future after a summer of talks.
“I’m delighted to finally get it done,” Dewsbury-Hall told LCFC TV. “Obviously, a lot of stuff goes into a signing a contract, so it’s nice to get it all over the line.
“Now I can concentrate on playing football and it’s exciting times ahead. I’m happy to sign and commit my future to this club for another three years.
“It was a great season last season and I’m really happy with how it went and this season, I’m looking to push on and have an even better one this season to see where it takes me.
“Obviously, I’ve signed for three years here and I’m looking to push on now, hopefully make a name for myself, get into the first team and just keep playing.
“My aspiration as a kid was to become a Premier League player so hopefully that’ll happen and I’ll see where it takes me.”
Dewsbury-Hall will next be in action when the young Foxes travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Saturday, September 14.
