Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing ADO Den Haag centre-back Wilfried Kanon.
The 25-year-old has also attracted attention from Newcastle and Southampton, according to the Sun.
Kanon is valued at £3 million by his club and looks set to leave this summer, but not until he competes at the African Cup of Nations in place of the injured Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.
Leicester are looking to sign five players this summer and defensive reinforcements are on their list of priorities, although Rodgers would prefer to sign a right-back first to provide competition for Ricardo Pereira.
Foxes captain Wes Morgan is only under contract for another year, while Filip Benković and Çağlar Söyüncü may be playing their football out on loan for the 2019-20 season.
