Leicester City are looking to hire a Video Scout to join Lee Congerton’s recruitment team.
The club say they are seeking someone to ‘monitor and identify players through video analysis’ and conduct ‘domestic and worldwide league specific research’ in order to improve the department’s knowledge of players across the world.
The successful candidate would report to Lee Congerton and the club’s Head of Technical Scouting.
A Head of Technical Scouting was recently recruited but the successful candidate’s identity is as yet unknown.
The two newly created roles may have given Congerton a chance to bring former colleagues of his into the club, although the scouting network will remain largely the same thanks to the strong foundations built by the club’s former Head of Recruitment, Steve Walsh.
Meanwhile, performance analyst Peter Clark has left the club to become Analysis Process Lead at The Football Association.
