Leicester City goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk has been named Scholar of the Year by the Premier League.
The 18-year-old collected his award earlier this week after a mixed season on the pitch for the Under-18s.
Despite an impressive start to the season, the Pole, who wore the armband for Trevor Peake’s side, lost his place in the starting line-up to first-year scholar Oliver Bosworth.
Stolarczyk will now be looking to make his mark on the Development Squad, although faces stiff competition from Daniel Iversen, Viktor Johansson, Max Bramley and Rhys Davies.
Bosworth was recently crowned Under-18 Player of the Season at Leicester City’s annual end of season awards dinner.
