Former Leicester City trialist Danny Lupano has signed for Hull City.

The 18-year-old right-back played for the Development Squad in their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal at the end of the 2018-19 season.

Lupano, who previously played for non-league club Hednesford Town, was on trial with Hull in February and has now penned a professional contract with the Tigers.

During Lupano’s trial with Leicester, former Hednesford manager Nicky Eaden told FoxesHub: “Danny is a great kid, with a great attitude to his football.

“He wants to learn and improve but what impressed me most is his willingness to play at any level in order to prove himself.

“He’s gone from playing non league against men, then to one of the country’s top academies. I really wish him well, he deserves a chance.”
