Former Leicester City defender Sean St Ledger has hailed Development Squad trialist Ali Reghba.
The Irish youth international impressed as the Under-23s beat Swansea City 3-0 on Monday (January 14), which happened to be Reghba’s 19th birthday.
“Ali is a really exciting young player with lots of potential,” St Ledger told the Irish Mirror.
“Obviously against Swansea he scored two and won the penalty.
“But his work ethic and attitude to do the other side of the game – like closing down and making tackles – was fantastic.”
Reghba, who played for Irish side Bohemians, has attracted interest from several Premier League and Championship clubs so far this season.
FoxesHub understands that Leicester are keen on completing a deal for the teenager as they look to bolster the Development Squad ahead of next season.
