Leicester City goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has been called up to the Denmark senior squad for the first time.
Eintrach Frankfurt’s Frederik Rønnow had to pull out of the squad due to a back injury and Iversen, who is Denmark’s first choice at Under-21 level, has been called up to replace him.
The 22-year-old will be in the senior squad for European Championship qualifiers against Gibraltar and Georgia on September 5 and September 8 respectively.
Iversen is currently on loan at Rotherham United and will miss his side’s derby clash against Doncaster Rovers this weekend.
Meanwhile, Admiral Muskwe (Zimbabwe), Chituru Odunze (United States), Oli Ewing (Wales) and Shane Flynn (Republic of Ireland) will all represent their countries over the coming week.
