The General Manager of Chester Football Club watched Leicester City Under-18s’ defeat to Chelsea earlier today.
George Delves, who previously worked for the Foxes as an academy coach, posted his whereabouts on Twitter during half time.
In his tweet, he noted that Leicester goalkeeper Oliver Bosworth had been the standout performer in the first half, despite Chelsea’s dominance.
It remains to be seen whether Chester will be looking for a goalkeeper in January, or even next summer, but it could be a development worth keeping an eye on.
Delves was interviewed for the Academy Manager role in 2006 but the club’s Head of Education, Ian Cawley, took the position instead.
