Former Arsenal right-back Vontae Daley-Campbell will sign a three-year deal with Leicester City imminently.
A report from @CannonInsider broke the news on Twitter this morning (Sunday, June 30) and it was confirmed by FoxesHub sources later in the day.
The 18-year-old joins following his release from Arsenal, where he was on scholarship terms, and will link up with Steve Beaglehole’s Development Squad.
Daley-Campbell made some impressive performances for the Gunners’ Under-18s and sources who have followed his career were surprised to see him leave north London.
Leicester can offer the teenager his first taste of Premier League 2 football and he will be looking to establish himself before challenging Ricardo Pereira and James Justin for a first team place.
The youngster is understood to have turned down Napoli and RB Leipzig in favour of a move to Filbert Way.
Meanwhile, Irish forward Ali Reghba is also set to join the club soon after leaving Bohemians.
