Sixteen-year-old Mexican midfielder Emilio Tame has spoken of his ‘dream’ trial with Leicester City.
Despite it being unclear exactly when Tame trained with Leicester City, Tame has described the Foxes’ interest as a ‘dream of many’.
The defensive midfielder, who plays for Liga MX club Puebla, will find it difficult to secure a contract with Leicester City due to new restrictions preventing British clubs signing foreign players due to Brexit.
“For a team from Europe to follow me is a very important achievement. It is the dream of many,” Tame said.
“Football in England is very physical and I think it can be that player who goes to the clash and wins, the one who competes and from there the interest arose from Leicester to test me.”
