Leicester City coach Ben Petty has graduated from this year’s UEFA Pro Licence course.
The course is the highest coaching accolade in European football and qualifies coaches to manage in the Premier League and in European competition.
Petty is the assistant manager of the Under-23s squad and has worked alongside manager Steve Beaglehole since his arrival from Aston Villa in September 2016.
As well as developing their coaching skills off the pitch, Pro Licence candidates are trained in areas such as media relations, working with technical directors and creating high-performance environments.
Petty’s course mates included Rangers manager Steven Gerrard and former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
