Leicester City midfielder Lamine Kaba Sherif is representing Guinea in the second qualifying round of the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations.
The 20-year-old was born in Guinée Conakry and is the latest of a host of young Leicester City players to be called up by their countries across various age groups.
Kaba Sherif will feature in an upcoming double-header against Senegal in the second qualifying round of the tournament.
Foxes teammate Khanya Leshabela recently represented South Africa in the Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations but has now returned to Belvoir Drive as he looks to continue his development with the Under-23s.
Meanwhile, midfielder Leon James battled through illness to impress at a Thailand Under-19 training camp and has travelled with the squad to Vietnam for an international tournament.
