Academy graduate Panayiotou continues career in Greece

Former Leicester City striker Harry Panayiotou has signed for Greek second division side Aittitos Spata following his departure from Nuneaton Borough.

It was announced earlier this week that the Saint Kitts and Nevis international had left National League North strugglers Nuneaton Borough after finding game time difficult to come by under new manager Jimmy Ginnelly.

In a social media post on Friday (25 January), Saint Kitts and Nevis manager Jacques Passy wrote: “I am extremely happy for SKN player @HPanayiotou who will continue his club career playing in Greece.

“All the best Harry. I trust you can achieve great things in this new path you have chosen.”

The 24-year-old Leicester-born striker scored the winning goal on his only appearance for Leicester, a 2-1 victory over Leeds United on the final day of the 2011-12 Championship season.
