Admiral Muskwe trains with first team ahead of FA Cup tie

Twenty-year-old Leicester City forward Admiral Muskwe has been pictured training with the first team ahead of this weekend’s trip to Newport County.

Muskwe could make his debut in the Emirates FA Cup third round tie, with Jamie Vardy set to be rested after a busy festive period.

The striker can be seen in’s photo gallery of Friday’s (January 4) training session at Belvoir Drive, with the squad seemingly in high spirits ahead of Sunday’s game, which will be shown live on BBC One.

Despite dividing opinion among Leicester City supporters, Puel has received praise for the amount of game time he has given to young English players, such as Ben Chilwell, James Maddison and Hamza Choudhury.

Puel is a regular attendee of the club’s Development Squad home games. Having given 19-year-old midfielder Khanya Leshabela a place on the bench during the Carabao Cup victory against Southampton, he has shown that he is willing to give young players a taste of the first team environment.
