Polish teenager Mateusz Borcuch will not sign for Leicester City despite spending time on trial with Belvoir Drive.
The youngster, who plays in the Polish youth leagues for AKS SMS Łódź, has now returned to his club after spending some time in England.
Club chairman Piotr Stępień told gol24.pl: “Mateusz did a good job, but against the background of his competitors he was not so convincing for [Leicester] to sign him now.”
Borcuch could have been recommended to Leicester by former Derby striker Grzegorz Rasiak, who now operates as an agent and had close links to the Foxes.
Rasiak recommended Poland Under-19 international Jakub Stolarczyk to Leicester City in 2017.
