Swindon Town manager David Flitcroft has said that he is ‘working strategically’ with Leicester City to improve the League Two club’s player recruitment.
“Recruitment wise, I don’t think we could have afforded the players who are at the top end,” Flitcroft told the Swindon Advertiser.
“I have been working strategically with Leicester and have been speaking to so many different people and looking at every U23 game going.”
Flitcroft had been scouting for Leicester since losing his job as Bury manager in November 2016. He was appointed manager of Swindon Town earlier this month.
